ABOUT EMILY

Emily Dempsey is a social entrepreneur and strategist working at the intersection of community, education, and Bitcoin.

In 2022, she founded The Brickell Babes, a Miami-based community of over 70,000 ambitious women built entirely through organic growth. What began as a local meetup has evolved into a omni-channel platform connecting and elevating the next generation of female leaders, founders, professionals, and investors across South Florida — at the hear of a region that has increasingly become synonymous with finance, capital formation, and modern-day ambition.

Emily is also a passionate advocate for Bitcoin education and women’s access to the future of finance. Through her work investing in Bitcoin-native companies and supporting mining initiatives focused on energy innovation, she has developed both on-grid and off-grid mining operations with a long term lens on infrastructure, resilience, and wealth creation. Through her podcast STACKED and strategic partnerships, Emily is committed to making Bitcoin, private markets, and the evolving financial landscape more understandable and accessible without the jargon or hype.

Beyond her entrepreneurial work, Emily supports several philanthropic causes, including her ongoing partnership with Lotus House through The Brickell Babes — supporting Miami’s leading women and children’s shelter and driving meaningful local impact.

Emily began her career in New York City, where she spent a decade as a fashion buyer, managing national merchandise strategy for women’s ready-to-wear and accessories at Saks Fifth Avenue, Bergdorf Goodman, and Barneys New York.

Originally from Chicago’s North Shore, she now lives in Miami, where she’s building what’s next: high-trust communities, high-signal media, and modern financial education.
