ABOUT EMILY

Emily Dempsey is a social entrepreneur and strategist working at the intersection of community, education, Bitcoin, and commercial real estate.

In 2022, she founded The Brickell Babes, a Miami-based community of over 50,000 ambitious women. What began as a local meetup has evolved into a curated events platform and omni-channel media brand designed to connect, empower, and elevate the next generation of female leaders, founders, professionals, and investors.

Emily is also a passionate advocate for Bitcoin and financial sovereignty. She’s built both on-grid and off-grid mining facilities with a focus on energy innovation and long-term wealth creation. Through her podcast BONDE and ongoing partnerships, she is committed to helping women better understand Bitcoin, private markets, and the future of money, reshaping traditional financial and energy models from the ground up.

Beyond her entrepreneurial work, Emily supports several philanthropic causes, including her ongoing partnership with Lotus House through The Brickell Babes — supporting Miami’s leading women and children’s shelter and driving meaningful local impact.

Emily began her career in New York City, where she spent a decade as a fashion buyer, managing national merchandise strategy for women’s ready-to-wear and accessories at Saks Fifth Avenue, Bergdorf Goodman, and Barneys New York.

Originally from Chicago’s North Shore, she now lives in Miami, where she’s building what’s next—on-chain, off-grid, and always in community.
