Full Transcript:

On November 15, 2025, more than 120 of Miami’s most ambitious women gathered at The Moore in the Miami Design District for STACKED, a future-of-finance and entrepreneurship summit created by The Brickell Babes. Designed as a transformational, day-long experience, STACKED blended money education, founder insight, and lifestyle strategy for women ready to “become their own best asset.” Part money school and part founder summit, the event focused on empowering women to take control of their financial futures and entrepreneurial paths.

Throughout the day, STACKED’s programming moved seamlessly between entrepreneurship and brand building. In Beyond the Label: The Journey of Entrepreneurship & Brand Building, GG Maull founder Gretchen Maull Berger and Pickle co-founder Julia O’Mara shared candid insights into fundraising, leaving corporate careers, and building brands that prioritize freedom and functionality over aesthetics alone. Later, beauty entrepreneur Divya Gugnani joined Brickell Babes founder Emily Dempsey for a live podcast recording of Banking to Beauty Empire, unpacking lessons from building, scaling, and exiting multiple companies, while offering tactical advice on team building, product development, and balancing ambition with family life.

A central pillar of the summit was education around the future of finance, particularly Bitcoin and digital assets. In Bitcoin & Crypto 101 for Smart Women, Dempsey traced her journey “from Bergdorf’s to Bitcoin,” breaking down blockchain technology, proof-of-work mining, and the distinction between Bitcoin and speculative crypto tokens. Her practical, jargon-free approach demystified wallets, exchanges, and self-custody, ending with actionable steps women could take to begin learning and investing safely—reinforcing her core message that understanding money is a form of modern empowerment.

The afternoon continued with a deeper look at trust, regulation, and infrastructure in digital finance. A fireside chat with Mariah Rodriguez of BDO USA, and Greer Griffith of McDermott Will & Schulte explored compliance, financial crime, and accountability in the crypto industry, followed by an intimate session with entrepreneur Karine Nissim on building again after a major exit. STACKED marked a pivotal evolution for The Brickell Babes, signaling a shift toward global financial education and thought leadership, with the launch of the STACKED video-first podcast slated for 2026. If the summit proved anything, it’s that when smart women are given real information about money and ownership, everything changes—and this is only the beginning.
